Physician / Pediatrics / Pennsylvania / Permanent / Pediatric Physician for Teaching Role in Reading, Pennsylvania Job

BC / BE Pediatrician for hospital-employed position. Join 5 pediatricians and 2 advanced practitioners located on the campus of a 700-bed teaching hospital. Teach residents and medical students both in the office and the nursery. Inpatient teaching rounds in the nursery occur approximately every 5th week with Family Medicine residents and medical students rotating in Pediatrics.

Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Shared call approximately 1 in 5 evenings and weekends. First-call coverage by Family Medicine senior residents for answering service calls.

The hospital offers a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), dedicated Pediatrics service in the Emergency Department, and 24/7 Pediatric Hospitalists.

Compensation package includes a base salary of $220,000 - $240,000, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance), a retirement savings plan with employer automatic contribution and match, and malpractice insurance.
