Job Summary:- Maintain and continually update a strategic plan for the NICU for the highest quality of care for patients in the NICU.
- Participate in clinical research as appropriate.
- Provide educational support to Residents and Fellows
- Ability to function in a Level II NICU
- Comfortable managing babies with CPAP and ventilation support
- Provide family-centered care.
Requirements:- An MD, DO, or foreign equivalent with active board certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Demonstrated record of supporting patients in aPediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Academic credentials for a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor is preferred.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the culture, needs, and aspirations of the community.
- Ability to function in a team environment to support collaboration. Level II NICU as the primary physician
- Excellent verbal, written and group presentation skills.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to start date.
- Unrestricted DEA certification
