Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent - Ascension is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist to join a busy, physician-led team in Indianapolis. You will provide comprehensive child neurology care with a focus on epilepsy and EEG interpretation within a large, nonprofit health system.

The role offers a 4-day workweek, a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties, and collaboration with hospitalists, neonatologists, and other specialists in a tertiary referral network.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Neurology required.
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.
• Deliver comprehensive, high-quality clinical care across a broad range of child neurology conditions, with a focus on epilepsy and EEG interpretation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric care team within a tertiary referral network.

Your future role at a glance

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Join an established team of physicians and APPs
• Call structure: 1 in 4 weeks or once every 4th night
• Practice setting: Inpatient/Outpatient mix (consulting service with 4-day work week)
• Access to Athena EMR, excellent office support staff, and 24/7 comprehensive in-house specialist coverage (hospitalists, neonatologists, intensivists, and emergency physicians)
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Deliver comprehensive, high-quality clinical care across a broad range of child neurology conditions, with a specific focus on treating epilepsy and interpreting electroencephalograms (EEGs).
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary, physician-led pediatric care team to support the growth and development of specialized neurological clinical interests within a tertiary referral network.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Neurology required

About the Facility

• 197-bed pediatric facility (including 40 private inpatient beds, 8 short-stay beds, 23 PICU beds, 17 Pediatric ED beds, and a 109-bed Level IV NICU)
• Trauma designation (Pediatric Trauma services available onsite)
• Serving a population of approximately 2 million in the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
