Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of Florida.
• Board Certified in area of specialty, or Board Eligible with completion of Board Certification within one year of employment.
• BLS or ALS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Communication with Administrative/Clinical Staff and creation of an active communication strategy.
• Strategic planning with senior leadership to develop long- and short-term goals for the physician practice.
• Clinical oversight of medical services, ensuring adherence to quality standards and accreditation requirements.
• Supervision of Advanced Practice Nurses and Physician Assistants; direct clinical supervision when needed.
• Participation in managed care negotiations and review of contracts to support clinical feasibility and patient care quality.
