Job summary

Intermountain Health in Henderson, NV is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support clinicians by gathering visit information, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with patient encounters in the District Pediatrics Clinic. This full-time role offers Monday–Friday shifts 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with opportunities for career advancement and education assistance up to $5,250 per year.

Qualified candidates have completed a Medical Assistant program (or have related nursing licensure in Utah), BLS

Qualifications

• This position requires completion of a Medical Assistant program OR relevant MA work experience OR active RN/LPN Utah license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start date.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under clinician direction and assist with patient visits.
• Communicate clearly with patients via telephone and in person.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient care.
