Qualifications

• Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program OR at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience OR current active and in-good-standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver high customer/patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients, caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under direction of the clinician by gathering information relevant to the patient visit and condition.
• Communicate clearly with patients via phone and in-person interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient care and workflow.
