VillageMD is seeking a proactive Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, or NPs with care delivery and clerical duties in a fast-paced environment. You will manage admissions, schedule tests, and ensure proper documentation in the EHR and PMS.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, Heart saver cert, and Medical Assistant certification. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to deliver high-quality patient care and drive efficient operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Heart saver certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required; strong medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physician, PA or NP with clerical duties, patient flow/care, procedures, scheduling hospital and ambulatory admissions.
• Schedule and enter diagnostic tests and procedures into orders management system following workflows.
• Coordinate required testing prior to admission and ensure consents are on site for admission/procedure.
• Enter orders and schedule appointments in PMS and EHR; provide referrals and consults as needed.
• Maintain accurate vital signs and document in EHR; manage medication lists and allergies.
