Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Pediatrics residency clinic in Illinois. You will support providers, take vitals, prepare patients, and help maintain patient flow in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

This role requires a MA diploma or 2 years MA experience, pediatric exposure is a plus, and a 40-hour work week with rotating Saturday and one weeknight per week. Join a collaborative team focused on compassionate, high-quality pediatric care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
• Previous Peds experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
