Advocate Health's Aurora Medical Group is hiring a Medical Assistant in Aurora, IL. This full-time role requires 32 hours per week with 4 days M-F 8am-5pm and rotating Saturdays 8am-12pm.

Pay range is $22.90–$34.35 per hour, offering a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a MA diploma or two years of MA experience (or MA certification with two years), and preferred phlebotomy skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
