Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus in the Inpatient Pediatrics Pharmacy. You will support high-volume, pediatric medication distribution, work with Pyxis cabinets, and assist pharmacists in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

This role involves day and evening shifts, with three weeks on day shift, then one week on evening shift, three weekend days per year, and holidays. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA at the time of hire.
• Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration as CPT/Registered/Technician Trainee.
• Registration must be updated to a Certified Technician within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications through selecting, labeling, repacking, non-sterile and sterile compounding.
• Deliver medications to storage locations in an accurate, timely manner.
• Maintain inventories and complete cycle counts and unit inspections.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work area and document regulatory requirements.
• Use information systems and automation to complete tasks.
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and training of staff.
