Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Burnet Campus inpatient pharmacy to support pharmacists and clinical teams. You will rotate through key areas, prepare and dispense medications, and assist with inventory and automated cabinets while ensuring accuracy and safety.

The position requires Ohio licensure, PTCB certification (or ability to obtain within 18 months), and at least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience
• Be licensed as a pharmacy technician in the State of Ohio
• Pharmacy technician certification (or ability to obtain within 18 months)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A detail-oriented, team-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications accurately and efficiently
• Support medication delivery for patient-specific doses across units
• Replenish automated dispensing cabinets and maintain inventory
• Compound sterile and non-sterile medications
• Collaborate with pharmacists and care teams to ensure quality and safety
