Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Central Inpatient team at the Main Campus Hospital. This inpatient role works in the Inpatient Pharmacy-Main Campus, supporting medication preparation, delivery, inventory, and documentation in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position offers evenings (2:00pm–10:30pm) with rotating day/evening shifts and every third weekend, and includes a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Six months of related experience
• CPhT via PTCB or NHA
• Active OBOP registration as Certified/Registered/Technician
• Trainee registration to be upgraded within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications by selecting, labeling, repacking and both non-sterile and sterile compounding.
• Deliver medications to appropriate storage locations accurately and promptly.
• Maintain inventories and complete cycle counts and unit inspections.
• Keep a safe, clean work area while logging temperature logs and trainings.
• Use information systems and automation to perform tasks.
• Assist with training other pharmacy caregivers and students.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBOP) registration
