Zusammenfassung

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Central Inpatient for the evenings. You will support an active inpatient pharmacy serving general inpatient care, oncology, sterile products, OR and pediatrics, with potential cross-training and career growth across specialty areas.

The role requires preparing medications, delivering to storage locations, maintaining inventories, and using automation systems.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Six months of related experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National HealthCareer Association (NHA).
• Active registration through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBOP) as either CPT, Registered CPT, or Pharmacy Technician Trainee.

Aufgaben

• Prepare medications through selecting, labeling, repacking, non-sterile and sterile compounding.
• Deliver medications to appropriate storage locations in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventories and complete inventory audits (cycle counts, unit inspections).
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and document regulatory requirements (temperature logs, trainings).
• Use information systems, technology and automation to complete tasks.
• Assist with training of pharmacy caregivers and students.
