Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, is seeking a Pediatrics Manager of Human Resources to independently manage HR activities across clinical, research and education missions in MUSC, MUSCP and in coordination with MUHA.

The role leads personnel actions, employee relations, data management, engagement programs, faculty affairs, timekeeping and performance evaluations for 200+ faculty and 500+ staff, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and five years relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
• A bachelor's degree and three years experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.

Responsibilities

• Leads department personnel actions including hiring, termination, employee relations, immigration and payroll.
• Manages faculty hiring, recruitment and onboarding with credentialing and licensing.
• Oversees employee relations, performance management and policy compliance.
• Maintains HR data and onboarding tools for faculty and staff.
• Directs engagement, communications and external presence for 500+ employees.
• Supervises timekeeping, leave reporting and timekeeping system implementations.
• Oversees Faculty Affairs for 200+ paid faculty and promotion/tenure processes.
• Manages employee performance evaluation tools and recognition programs.
• Leads annual employee engagement surveys and improvement plans.
