The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Pediatrics Manager of Human Resources to lead HR activities for the Department of Pediatrics across clinical, research, and education missions at MUSC, MUSCP, and MUHA.

Reporting to the Vice Chair for Finance & Administration, this role oversees hiring, payroll, employee relations, data management, communications, timekeeping, faculty affairs, and performance evaluations for 500+ staff and faculty.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and five years relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
• A bachelor's degree and three years experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.

Responsabilités

• Leads the department’s personnel actions including hiring, terminations, and payroll coordination.
• Oversees employee relations, coaching, performance management, and compliance with laws and policies.
• Manages HR data and faculty onboarding tools to ensure timely, accurate documentation.
• Oversees engagement and communications for 500+ employees and external visibility.
• Supervises timekeeping and leave reporting and supports new timekeeping systems.
• Oversees Faculty Affairs for 200+ paid faculty; coordinates promotions and tenure processes.
• Manages employee performance evaluation tools and annual compliance activities.
• Leads Employee Survey processes and action planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
