St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool Pediatrics as a PRN opportunity.

You will provide clinical expertise and compassionate care to infants, children and adolescents, and help families understand treatment options. Key responsibilities include attending deliveries, neonatal stabilization, discharge planning, ongoing assessments, medication administration, assisting with transport, delegating to non-licensed staff, and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS required.
• RNC-NIC preferred.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Neonatal Education Program Certification – preferred.
• ACLS certification – preferred.
• CPEN, CCRN, CPN certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend deliveries and perform neonatal stabilization and admission assessments.
• Create a care plan including discharge planning and regular plan evaluation.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of infants and communicate changes.
• Administer medications and complete treatments per policy.
• Assist transport teams in stabilization and document transfers.
• Delegate work to non-licensed staff within scope of practice.
• Provide education and family support tailored to age and culture.
