Job summary

SSM Health’s Monroe Pediatrics/Clinic is hiring a patient-focused Medical Assistant to support examination and treatment under RN or provider supervision. In a 36-hour weekly daytime schedule, you’ll assist with treatments, take vital signs, and handle clerical tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with BLS HCP and CMA/CCMA-type certifications preferred. Wisconsin location. 36 hours/week, day shift, equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; no experience required.
• Certifications listed: BLS HCP, CCMA/CMA/CMAC or other approved medical assistant credentials.
• Wisconsin-specific credential requirements may apply for Wisconsin location.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatments ordered by provider; perform select clinical duties.
• Interview patients, measure vitals, and prepare examination rooms.
• Perform clerical tasks: phone, scheduling, records, filing.
• Manage supplies and maintain a clean, orderly environment.
• Document provider encounters and transcribe orders as directed.
