Job summary

SSM Health Dean Medical Group is seeking qualified Medical Assistants to support pediatric care at 1821 S Stoughton Rd. Responsibilities include patient rooming, assisting with procedures, vaccine administration, and EMR documentation in Epic.

Shifts Monday–Friday with 32 hours weekly; no nights, weekends, or holidays. Ideal candidates are comfortable with hands-on patient care, eager to learn, and motivated to contribute to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience.
• Wisconsin residents must graduate from medical assistant school or hold equivalent certification.
• Experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for patient care is valued.

Responsibilities

• Assists with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.
• Interviews patients, measures vitals, and prepares examination rooms.
• Performs basic clerical duties: phones, scheduling, records filing.
• Maintains supplies and a clean, organized environment.
• Transcribes orders and documents encounters in the EMR (Epic).
• Supports patient care activities as needed and follows safety protocols.
