Job summary

SSM Health in Fond du Lac, WI seeks a part-time Medical Assistant to support Internal Medicine and Pediatrics teams. 28 hours per week, 3-4 days, with no nights, weekends or holidays, in a clinic setting.

Under RN or provider supervision, you’ll take vital signs, interview patients, prepare treatment rooms, perform basic clerical tasks, and assist with procedures while maintaining a clean, safe environment. State licenses include BLS HCP and CMA/CCMA options in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• High School diploma or GED or 10 years of work experience as a minimum requirement.
• Graduation from medical assistant school or training program or education equivalency for certification in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Assists with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examination.
• Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, scheduling patients, and filing.
• Orders, stocks and maintains supplies and ensures a clean and orderly environment.
• Transcribes patient orders and documents encounters as directed.
