Job summary

Software Placement Group (SPG) is seeking a pediatrician for an outpatient clinic in Hawthorne, CA. The role features a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with no after-hours call, enabling excellent work-life balance while delivering high-quality pediatric care.

You will provide well-child visits, immunizations, and acute illness management, working with a coordinated care team. Bilingual Spanish/English is required, and a CA license must be active.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required.
• Active, unrestricted California medical license (or eligible for immediate state licensure).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to serving diverse, community-based patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care, well-child checkups, immunizations, and acute illness management.
• Deliver culturally competent care and communicate fluently with Spanish-speaking patients and families.
• Conduct clinical visits during standard clinic hours without after-hours, weekend, or holiday call duties.
• Collaborate with dedicated medical assistants, care coordinators, and staff to streamline clinic workflows.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Educate parents and guardians on child development, nutrition, and preventative health strategies.
