Job summary

Pediatric Associates in Miami, FL seeks a Full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our growing practice. The position involves a full-time schedule with newborn rounding at Jackson North and Memorial Regional, and no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-approved pediatrics residency.
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• Current, unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain in Florida.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within five years of training.
• BLS certification required; PALS as hospital appointment requires.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care in a full-time schedule.
• Rotated newborn rounding at Jackson North and Memorial Regional.
• No on-call schedule.
• Use EMR system: eClinicalWorks for patient documentation.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
