Job summary

Pediatric Associates in Hialeah, FL seeks a Full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our team. The physician will round on newborns, work four days per week with rotated Saturdays, and operate with an no-call schedule using the eClinical Works EMR.

Florida-licensed pediatricians with Board eligibility/certification are encouraged to apply. NHSC-eligible site, benefits day one, and comprehensive coverage are offered to support clinicians in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• MD or D.O. degree required.
• ACGME/AOA pediatric residency or equivalent.
• Current unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Current unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics within five years of training.
• Meets requirements for medical staff privileges.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS as required for hospital appointments.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 4 days per week with rotated Saturdays.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required


• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics


• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida


• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida


• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training


• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required


• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
