Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.

• Current, unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatrics within five years of training.
• BLS certification is required.
• PALS as required for hospital appointment.

Responsibilities

• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.
• Float position covering multiple offices: Miami Lakes, Hialeah, Doral, Blue Lagoon, West Kendall.
• Float stipend provided for coverage across Palm Beach County locations.
• Float clinicians support other clinicians by filling in for leave/PTO.
• Gain exposure to multiple clinics and patient demographics across locations.
• No newborn rounding and no on-call schedule.
• EMR: eClinicalWorks.
• Base salary plus float stipend plus quality incentive.

Position Overview:

• Full-time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Full-time Float position - Coverage in Miami Lakes, Miami Lakes East, Hialeah, Doral, Blue Lagoon, West Kendall
• Cover multiple locations throughout Palm Beach County and receive afloat stipend
• Our float clinicians help support the other clinicians by filling in for them while out on leave or PTO; allowing them to enjoy the work-life balance all of our clinicians have come to appreciate.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
