Job summary

Compassion Health Toledo seeks a Pediatrician to provide comprehensive primary care for infants, children, and adolescents. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care focused on prevention and development.

The role requires completing an accredited Pediatrics residency, board eligibility or certification, and an Ohio medical license, with CPR/BLS current. This is a full-time on-site position in Toledo, OH offering strong team support and mission-driven care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Active and unrestricted Ohio medical license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Job Description

The Pediatrician provides comprehensive primary medical care to infants, children, and adolescents at Compassion Health Toledo. As a core member of the Care Team, the physician collaborates with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, care coordinators, behavioral health staff, and other team members to deliver patient centered, high-quality healthcare. This position emphasizes prevention, growth and development, family education, and continuity of care, aligning with Compassion Health Toledo’s mission and values.

Qualifications, Skills, Education

Required

Doctorate of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from anaccredited institution.

Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatrics.

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics required.

Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio.

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Preferred

Strong pediatric diagnostic and clinical skills with a commitment to patient- andfamily-centered care.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
