ProMedica Physicians Group in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide inpatient and observation coverage as part of a 40-hour work week. The role includes serving as main admitting service for multiple specialties and supporting a Level 1 nursery, NICU, and PICU on campus with 24/7 coverage.

Collaborate with UT Medical School and the pediatric residency program, with teaching opportunities and involvement in hospital committees and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Job Summary:

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician in Toledo, Ohio.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Group currently consists of 11 physicians and four Advanced Practice Providers


• 12-hour shifts- 6:00 AM- 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM- 6:00 AM


• Weekends and holidays required


• 100% Inpatient or observation


• Main Admitting service for most specialties


• Level 1 nursery-no deliveries, no circumcisions


• NICU on campus with 24/7 coverage


• PICU on campus with 24/7 coverage


• Jointly collaboration with the University of Toledo Medical School and the University of Toledo Pediatric residency program-many opportunities for teaching

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.


• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided


• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.


• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).


• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
