Duties: Successful candidates will monitor and document the health and development of children, diagnosing and treating common ailments and minor injuries and referring to specialists for appropriate care.
Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in General Pediatrics. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
Practice Opportunity Details: Summersville Regional Medical Center is a critical access hospital. The pediatrician will practice in a traditional clinic and inpatient model.
Located in the heart of West Virginia, the Greater Summersville Area offers some of the best outdoor recreational opportunities in the region, including the state's largest lake and rafting on the Gauley or New River. Dry land enthusiasts can opt for hiking, biking and climbing.
