Qualifikationen

• Pediatric experience is required.
• Pediatric ER, hospital unit, or urgent care experience preferred.
• Active state nursing license or compact licensure.
• Experience with nursing procedures (IV placement, catheterization, and medication administration).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinic processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Possess Energetic, Motivated, Customer Service Focus, Positive Attitude, Professionalism.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, intake, and prioritize patient care
• Perform procedures (venipuncture, IV insertion, urinary catheterization), administer medications, and assist with total patient care
• Remain knowledgeable in pediatric pharmacology
• Assist in maintaining safe, clean exam rooms and medical equipment
• Assist physician with patient care and radiology procedures as needed
• Maintain quality control and support efficient urgent care flow and throughput
• Protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
