Job summary

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience is required; Pediatric ER, hospital unit, or Urgent Care experience preferred.
• Active state nursing license or active compact licensure for your state.
• Experience with nursing procedures (IV placement, catheterization, medications) and pediatric care.
• BLS required; PALS recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, intake, and prioritize patient care.
• Assist with procedures (venipuncture, IVs, catheterization) and medications under physician supervision.
• Maintain pediatric pharmacology knowledge and assist in patient care delivery.
• Keep exam rooms stocked and ensure proper sterilization and safety practices.
• Support urgent care flow and throughput with emphasis on efficiency.
