Job summary

The Medical Receptionist is the first in-person contact for patients at the Pediatric Urgent Care Clinic in Tacoma, supporting front desk duties, scheduling and registration with a focus on compassionate service for children and families.

This per diem, day-shift role offers flexibility to cover additional shifts across Gig Harbor and Olympia, promoting a family-centered care approach across the Mary Bridge network.

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six months in a medical setting.
• Customer service experience.
• Degree or relevant Certificate (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families and answer phones.
• Assist with scheduling, registration and billing tasks.
• Direct calls and support front office duties in clinic.
