Job summary

The Medical Receptionist is the first in-person contact for patients at the Mary Bridge Urgent Care clinics in Gig Harbor, Tacoma, Olympia. You will handle front office duties including greeting, phones, scheduling, registration and payments, with discretion and a professional demeanor.

This per diem role supports our Pediatric Urgent Care operations and offers flexible shifts and per diem scheduling, with opportunities to cover multiple locations across the South Sound.

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six months in a medical setting.
• Customer service experience.
• Degree or relevant Certificate (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

• Front office duties: greeting patients, answering phones and directing calls.
• Assist patients/families; scheduling, registration, charge entry, payment posting.
• Batch balancing, cash reconciliation, and operating basic office equipment.
