Job summary

University Hospitals Urgent Care in Ohio is seeking an experienced Pediatrician to care for children, adolescents, and young adults in a fast-paced urgent care environment. The role focuses on patients aged 0–26, with emphasis on pediatric and adolescent care.

You will work with physicians and APPs, perform suturing, I&D, and splinting, order X-rays, EKGs, and labs, maintain thorough medical documentation, and travel to other University Hospitals Urgent Care centers as needed.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Board certified or board eligible in pediatrics.
• Active medical license in the practicing state plus DEA registration.
• BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience caring for pediatric and adolescent patients; familiarity with urgent care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients aged 0–26 with emphasis on pediatric and adolescent care.
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, incision and drainage, and splinting.
• Order and interpret diagnostics (X-ray, EKG, labs) and document thoroughly.
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs to ensure high-quality care and patient experience.
