Job summary

University Hospitals Urgent Care seeks an experienced Pediatrician to provide high-quality, age-appropriate care for patients ages 0–26. The role emphasizes pediatric and adolescent care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The Pediatrician will collaborate with physicians and APPs, provide education to families, and maintain clinical documentation. Roles include travel to other UH Urgent Care centers as needed and a schedule offering FT or PT options with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active medical license in the state of practice or ability to obtain licensure.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care for patients aged 0–26 in a fast-paced urgent care.
• Diagnose and treat pediatric and adolescent illnesses and injuries.
• Perform procedures within scope: suturing, I&D, splinting.
• Order and interpret diagnostics (X-ray, EKG, labs).
• Document thoroughly and communicate with patients and families.
• Collaborate with center team to deliver high-quality care.
