Job summary

University Hospitals Urgent Care is expanding its pediatric services and seeks a Pediatrician to care for patients from birth through age 26 in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role emphasizes pediatric and adolescent medicine, with opportunities to treat the full 0–26 age range and occasionally work-related injuries.

The Pediatrician will collaborate with physicians and APPs, maintain high-quality patient care, and participate in center meetings and professional development.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board certification/eligibility in pediatrics.
• Active medical license in the state of practice and DEA registration.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Strong clinical experience caring for pediatric and adolescent patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients ages 0–26 with a focus on pediatric and adolescent care.
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based medical care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Perform procedures within scope (suturing, incision and drainage, splinting).
• Order and interpret diagnostics (X-rays, EKGs, labs) and document thoroughly.
• Travel to other UH Urgent Care centers as needed to support operations.
