Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in our pediatric urgent care setting under the physician’s supervision. You will greet patients, take histories, prepare for X-rays, assist with exams, and maintain rooms and records.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, prior Medical Assistant experience, and comfort with computers and MS Office. Some commuting to our Woburn sister office may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior medical assistant experience preferred.
• Comfort with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers and office operations.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays and assist with exams.
• Perform routine labs and venipuncture as needed.
• Irrigate and assist with wounds and maintain labs.
• Help maintain exam rooms and waiting areas.
