Job summary

PM Pediatrics is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our pediatric urgent care team in Selden, NY. The role supports providers and staff in delivering high-quality patient care under physician supervision, with a focus on pediatric needs and family-centered service.

The ideal candidate has pediatric nursing experience, a current LPN/LVN license, BLS certification, and willingness to work weekends and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Pediatric nursing experience required.
• Pediatric ER/urgent care exposure preferred.
• Active LPN/LVN license in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required; PALS recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to providers, patients, and office operations.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, and triage; assist with patient care.
• Perform procedures (venipuncture, IV access, catheterization) and administer medications.
• Assist physician with patient care within scope of practice; maintain sterile techniques.
• Maintain lab equipment and perform monthly quality control checks.
• Assist in imaging processes and ensure rooms stocked with supplies.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
