PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support pediatric urgent care with direct physician supervision. The role involves clinical and administrative duties, patient care, and collaboration with families and staff.

Weekend availability and on-call rotation are required. Candidates must have pediatric nursing experience, active licensure, BLS, and familiarity with pediatric pharmacology to ensure safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience is required; pediatric ER/urgent care preferred.
• Active state nursing license or compact state licensure.
• Experience with IV placement, urinary catheterization, and medication administration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended.
• Knowledge of pediatric pharmacology and clinical processes.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, intake, and prioritize care.
• Perform procedures (venipuncture, IV insertion, catheterization) and assist with total patient care.
• Maintain knowledge in pediatric pharmacology.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and sterile equipment maintained.
• Assist in quality control in the office and lab.
• Support physician during X-ray processes and patient comfort.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
