The role emphasizes pediatric care with collaboration with center physicians; requires 5+ years pediatric experience, NP/PA license, and BLS/PALS certifications. Travel to other WellStreet centers may be required.

Qualifications

• Pediatric NP or NP/PA with 5+ years of pediatric clinical experience.
• Active medical license in state of practice or ability to obtain.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including X-rays and EKGs.
• BLS and PALS certification required.
• Meets credentialing requirements for WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Willing to travel to other WellStreet Urgent Care centers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plans, evaluates, and implements high quality medical care for patients 0-26 with pediatric focus.
• Delivers highest standard of patient satisfaction per WellStreet policies.
• Performs procedures including suturing, drainage, splinting, and foreign body removal.
• Provides care within center policies and maintains accurate records.
• Educates patients, families and staff as needed.
• Documents services and coordinates communication for reimbursement.
• Participates in meetings and supports center operations.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications.
