Job summary

WellStreet Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to provide comprehensive, age-appropriate medical care for patients aged 0–26 in our urgent care setting. You will focus on pediatric and adolescent patients while evaluating the full spectrum of care needs within this age range.

As a clinical resource, you will elevate care quality through collaboration with center staff, ensuring efficient patient flow and adherence to documentation standards across all WellStreet locations.

Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Pediatrics and licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading diagnostic studies including X-rays and EKGs.
• BLS and PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, evaluates, and implements high quality medical care for patients ages 0-26 with emphasis on pediatric/adolescent care.
• Adheres to service and courtesy standards, delivering high patient satisfaction.
• Performs procedures within scope with age-appropriate technique and comfort measures.
• Maintains documentation and communicates to facilitate patient care and reimbursement.
• Supports operations of the urgent care center and participates in team meetings.
