Job summary

WellStreet Urgent Care seeks a dedicated Pediatrician to provide age-appropriate medical care for patients aged 0–26 in a fast-paced urgent care environment. The role emphasizes pediatric and adolescent health, with collaboration across center staff to maintain high-quality, efficient patient care.

You will document thoroughly and uphold WellStreet standards while supporting families and the center’s operations.

Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Pediatrics
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs
• BLS and PALS certification required

Responsibilities

• Plans, evaluates, and implements high quality medical care for patients ages 0–26 with emphasis on pediatric and adolescent care in urgent care settings.
• Adheres to WellStreet Urgent Care service standards and ensures patient satisfaction
• Performs procedures within scope (suturing, drainage of abscesses, splinting) with age-appropriate technique
• Maintains accurate medical records and proper documentation for reimbursement
• Collaborates with center staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care
• Stays current with professional development and credentialing requirements
