Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is hiring Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with pediatric or urgent care experience to join our team. Under local clinical leaders, APPs evaluate and treat pediatric patients in urgent care settings.

Responsibilities include managing acute illnesses, procedures, imaging interpretation with radiologist over-reads where applicable, and coordinating with on-site and telemedicine teams to ensure timely care and compliance with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; ER/General Pediatrics/Urgent Care preferred.
• Active board certification in ANCC or NCCPA.
• State licenses for RN/NP/PA as applicable.
• Advanced nursing or PA degree required.
• 2+ years pediatric APP experience (or 1+ year in urgent care/ED).
• Strong critical thinking and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in EMR systems, especially eCW.
• Clear verbal and nonverbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in urgent care settings.
• Perform urgent care procedures (abscess drainage, wound repair).
• Provide radiographs interpretation with radiologist review where applicable.
• Oversee daily operations and patient flow on shift.
• Ensure adherence to policies; report changes to management.
• Collaborate with on-site and telemedicine teams for tasks and follow-ups.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
• Contribute to service recovery and patient experience improvements.
