Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is hiring Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with significant pediatric or urgent care/ER experience to join our team. Under the guidance of the local clinical leaders, APPs are responsible for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; pediatric ER, general pediatrics, or urgent care experience preferred.
• ANCC/NP-PA certification and active licensed practice in treating states.
• 2 years independent pediatric APP experience or 1 year in urgent care/emergency medicine.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in urgent care, including telemedicine when applicable.
• Perform common urgent care procedures and coordinate radiographs with radiologists.
• Oversee patient flow and collaborate with on-site and telemedicine teams.
• Adhere to policies, ensure safety standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Support service recovery and improve patient experience metrics.
• Update knowledge through internal training and professional activities.
