Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health in Round Lake Beach, IL is seeking a part-time Triage Registered Nurse for the Pediatrics Medical Group. The role includes phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient education, with hours Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm and Saturdays 8am–12pm or 9am–1pm.

You will document in Epic and support care plans under the Practice Manager and physicians. Ideal candidates have IL RN licensure, NLN-accredited training (BSN preferred) and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

Current IL RN licensure required.
Graduate of NLN‑accredited nursing program; BSN strongly preferred.
BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers required.
1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care under direction of the Practice Manager and physicians.
Phone triage, review test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care and patient education.
Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients.
Chart in Epic EMR.
