Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks a Registered Nurse Triage (RN) for Nephrology. This full-time role supports patient care via inbound/outbound calls, triage nursing, education, and care coordination for nephrology patients.

The ideal candidate holds Illinois RN licensure, current CPR certification, and is able to manage high-stress periods while delivering compassionate, accurate nursing support. Travel to other locations is required.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA).
• Office RN and BSN preferred.
• Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress.
• Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching/climbing and repetitive use of hands.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal.

Responsibilities

• The Triage Nurse provides phone triage, patient education and glucose monitor related tasks, coordinates insurance pre-authorization and referrals, and maintains exam room readiness under supervisor guidance.
