Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and readies them for physicians; takes vital signs and records medical history.
• Performs telephone triage and handles physician and pharmacy calls; may arrange tests or admissions.
• Administers immunizations and minor treatments; documents activities in the chart.
• Assists physician with procedures and cleans/prepares exam rooms and instruments.
• Responds to patient questions as liaison between physician and patient.
