UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) as Pediatric Trauma Program Lead Coordinator to guide a high‑performing pediatric trauma program. The role combines clinical leadership with program development to meet safety, quality, and education goals across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
• Massachusetts PA/NP license, national certification, DEA, CSR required.
• PALS certification required.
• 3–5 years in pediatric trauma, emergency/mCCS, or trauma program management.
• Experience with quality improvement, regulatory compliance, trauma registries, data analysis preferred.
• Leadership and project management capabilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity of care for trauma and general surgery pediatric patients in-hospital and in clinic.
• Lead planning, implementation and ongoing management of the pediatric trauma program.
• Ensure compliance with ACS, state, and regulatory trauma standards and verification.
• Partner with physicians, APPs, nursing leadership, EMS, and administration to reach goals and improve outcomes.
• Direct the PIPS program, including case reviews, quality monitoring and corrective action planning.
• Analyze trauma data, outcomes, and TQIP reports to identify trends and drive quality initiatives.
• Oversee trauma registry operations, data collection, benchmarking and reporting.
• Coordinate trauma education, simulations and continuing education for staff and learners.
• Mentor clinicians, promote best practices, patient safety and family-centered care.
• Lead injury prevention initiatives with community and EMS partners.
• Prepare for trauma verification reviews and present outcomes to leadership.
