Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting or related field.
• Two years of management experience.
• Experience in pediatrics and hospital settings preferred.
• Excellent Spanish and English communication.
• Ability to lead a diverse translation team.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of interpretation and translation service delivery to patients and families.
• Ensures regulatory and accreditation compliance for limited English proficient and deaf or hard of hearing communities.
• Manages budget preparation and monthly analysis of budget performance for multiple cost centers and donor funds.
• Manages internal and external staff to ensure resource optimization and quality services.
• Manages quality improvement and patient safety processes.
• Collaborates with medical staff to ensure high quality of care.
• Leads ongoing processes of healthcare delivery with age-related requirements.
• Addresses privacy concerns and policy development.
• Leads and develops the team, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Mentors team members to encourage professional growth and ongoing skill development.
