Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identifies, assesses and responds to child/family interpretation needs within healthcare context.
• Provides medical interpreting and translation for discharge instructions.
• Communicates with the health care team to provide optimal services.
• Advocates for the language needs of families throughout the continuum of care.
• Keeps accurate stats of all patient encounters.
• Assists with triaging interpreter needs and dispatching interpreters.
