Job summary

Alameda County is seeking a capable leader to plan, organize, and direct the work of pediatric occupational and physical therapists and support staff in the CCS Medical Therapy Program. You will coordinate medical case management and oversee administrative operations of the unit.

The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal, mentoring, and organizational skills, with a commitment to public service and working in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of full‑time experience as a Senior Therapist in the Alameda County classified service.
• Three (3) years of full‑time experience as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in an institutional or clinical setting, including at least one year treating children with cerebral palsy or other neuro‑muscular or musculoskeletal conditions.
• License: California Board of Occupational Therapy licensure or California Physical Therapy Board licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the work of pediatric occupational and physical therapists and support staff in the CCS Medical Therapy Program.
• Coordinate medical case management of therapy services and oversee administrative operations of the Medical Therapy Unit.
• Provide staff consultation and mentoring; advance supervision, coaching, and staff development.
