Job summary

County of Marin seeks a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to serve as Supervising Pediatric Therapist at the Medical Therapy Unit, San Rafael. You will lead a 5.25 FTE team serving children birth to 21, coordinating clinical services, administration, and collaboration with school staff.

The ideal candidate has pediatric therapy expertise, supervisory experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in California.
• Typically, three years of experience as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist.
• One year of supervisory or lead experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with pediatric therapy and CCS eligibility.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are desirable; a bilingual proficiency exam may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and daily operations of the Medical Therapy Unit.
• Provide administrative leadership and collaboration with school administrators.
• Deliver direct clinical services as needed to support patients and the team.
• Mentor and motivate staff and oversee a 5.25 FTE team (OTs, PTs, Therapy Aide).
• Prepare clear reports, budgets, and records; contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
