Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking a Therapist in Burke, VA to deliver high-quality therapy to children, adolescents, young adults and their caregivers in virtual or in-person formats. You’ll build meaningful relationships, assess needs, and educate families on evidence-based approaches that foster lasting progress.

Working with an interdisciplinary team, you’ll support engagement in treatment with a guaranteed caseload and flexible after-hours scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia license: LCSW, LPC, LPC-R or LMFT
• LMSW with an active SISW, OR
• LMSW eligible to obtain SISW
• 1+ year of experience with children and adolescent patients
• 1+ year of telehealth/virtual setting experience
• Available after 3pm ET weekdays and/or weekends
• Passion for family-centered, high-touch care

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality virtual and in-person therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and caregivers
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families and assess needs
• Educate patients on therapeutic approaches to foster progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide care
• Help patients engage in treatment with a guaranteed caseload
• Provide care across Burke, VA team for ages 2–26
